Nationwide Coverage

The NDIS is being rolled out gradually across all states and territories of Australia, ensuring equal access to support for eligible participants no matter where they live.

Support for People with Disabilities

The NDIS assists individuals with intellectual, physical, sensory, cognitive, and psychosocial disabilities. It also provides early intervention services for those with disabilities or children experiencing developmental delays.

Security and Assurance

The NDIS offers peace of mind to all Australians. If you, your child, or a loved one is born with or develops a permanent and significant disability, you can be confident that the right support will be available.

Comprehensive Support Program

The NDIS is not a welfare system. It is a structured program designed to help people develop their skills, increase independence, and enhance quality of life over time.

What is the NDIS ?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is Australia’s innovative national initiative designed to fund necessary and reasonable supports for people under 65 with permanent and significant disabilities. It ensures participants can access tailored services that empower independence and full participation in life.

At Hestia Health, we simplify your NDIS journey. Our team guides you through the application process, helps you understand eligibility criteria, and supports plan implementation—making the transition as seamless as possible.

To qualify, you must:

Have a significant and permanent disability,

Meet age and residency requirements,

Satisfy either disability or early intervention criteria.
Hestia Health can assist you in understanding these criteria and preparing your application documents.

The NDIS funds a broad spectrum of supports, including:

Everyday personal and domestic assistance (daily living, social access),

Capacity-building services (therapies, training, skill development),

Capital aids (assistive technologies, home/vehicle modifications).
Hestia Health offers eligible participants access to these supports, tailored to your unique needs.

A support coordinator is someone who is funded through your plan, to help you understand and implement the funded supports in your plan and link you to community, mainstream and other government services. A Support Coordinator will focus on supporting you to build skills and direct your life as well as connect you to providers.

A Support Coordinator should work with you to link you to providers, they will help build your ability to exercise choice and control, to coordinate supports and access your local community. They can also assist you in planning ahead to prepare for your plan review.

No—NDIS eligibility is not based on income or assets. It’s an insurance model focused on disability-related needs, aimed at delivering long-term benefits for individuals and the community.

Unlike general welfare programs, the NDIS is outcome-focused. Hestia Health works with you to set meaningful goals, coordinate individualized plans, and connect you with top-quality, registered NDIS services—empowering you or your loved one to live life with greater independence.
